Now hiring for a Material Handler in Frankfort, KY. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour for the 1st shift from 5 am to 3 pm plus OT every other Sunday during peak. Looking for Material Handler jobs in Frankfort where every shift keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you handle materials safely, support warehouse operations, and help ensure inventory reaches the right place at the right time. Will operate an Electric Forklift sit down and/or stand up equipment. Will not be on this equipment 100% of the day. MUST be able to work in sorting, cycle counting, packing, as well as operating the equipment.

Job Duties:

• Pick, repack, label, and prepare parts and materials for production using RF scanners
• Perform daily paperwork, 5S activities, cycle counts, and support internal/external audits
• Operate forklifts safely and follow all pedestrian and equipment safety protocols
• Handle, lift, and move materials while practicing proper safety techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and ensure proper storage of materials
• Support recycling efforts per ISO14001 standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial

Experience Requirements:

• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments
• Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures
