Senior Accessibility & Compliance Analyst

Job Title Accessibility Business Analyst – State of Texas – Austin, TX (Onsite) Job Description Collaborate with ITS Leadership and the Agency Accessibility Coordinator on accessibility projects to meet compliance with Federal, State, and agency procedures, policies, rules, and laws including DOJ ADA Title II. Analyze web content for accessibility and recommend changes to make content accessible. Participate in testing efforts and provide testing results to the Agency Accessibility Coordinator. Collaborate with the Agency Accessibility Coordinator on preliminary accessibility assessments with internal and external partners to include testing/validation and complete coordinating reports. Required Skills & Qualifications 13+ years total experience in accessibility. Strong experience with digital content and Electronic Information Resources. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA knowledge and experience. Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code, Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) EIR Accessibility Policy, and WCAG 2.1. Knowledge of industry best practices for accessibility services for digital content and EIR (brochures, flyers, webpages, documents, forms, and training materials). Experience assessing web content and other EIR for compliance with accessibility standards and performing remediation analysis. Experience with EIR testing and validation practices and methodology to confirm compliance. Experience identifying functional and technical requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation with a strong attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
