Senior Compliance Specialist, Dangerous Goods

Responsibilities Oversee safe handling, storage, and global distribution of lithium batteries Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for lithium battery shipping regulations Prepare and validate all Dangerous Goods documentation Monitor changes in global regulations and update Standard Work Instructions Ensure compliance with IATA, IMDG, and DOT regulations Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business or a related field, or minimum 5 years experience focused on dangerous goods IATA DGR Certification: Current certification for the transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (Category 1 or 6) IMDG Code Certification: Valid certification for the transport of Dangerous Goods by Sea 49 CFR / DOT Hazmat: Deep understanding of Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations for domestic U.S. transport Familiarity with UN 38.3 Testing Summaries and the ability to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
