This role will be responsible for supporting the monthly and quarterly accounting close process and working closely with our International Accounting Team to create accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting & SEC Reporting.What You'll DoSupport the accounting close process for North America and adhere to monthly close schedule for preparing and reviewing accurate journal entries and completing reconciliations timelyManage daily accounting activities (Leases, prepaid expenses, intercompany and complex accruals)Participate in the external audit process, with a specific focus on collecting key financial and accounting dataLead the development, maintenance and documentation of all policies and procedures related to assigned areas of responsibilityPlay a key part in creating synergies between GL Operations and the SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting teamsBe an integral part of M&A accounting roles and responsibilitiesCollaborate with business partners to effectively deploy new operating processes and controlsIdentify opportunities for process improvements or automation and lead the executionSupport management in completing special projects and other ad hoc assignments as requiredRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of relevant accounting experienceStrong understanding of current US GAAP accountingAbility to thrive in a fast-growing environment where change is the norm; strong multi-tasking skills, and flexibility to switch from one project to the next quicklyExcellent communications skillsMust be able to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of managementAbility to work independently and as a team playerHighly proficient in MS office applications: Word, Excel, Power PointExcellent attention to detailGreat interpersonal skills and ability to work well with othersNice to HaveCPA or CPA candidate is a plusPublic Accounting experienceExperience with NetSuiteInterviewing with VeevaWe value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process.
