Operations Manager

Operations Manager to work out of our Beltsville, MD Depot. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Who we are:  We're a successful, expanding company that has been around for over 70 years, so we're a very stable work environment. We recycle used cooking oil to sell as a feedstock for renewable fuels.

Starting Annual Salary DOE: $74,000 - $77,000

What you'll do:
Create and manage effective routes.
Communicate effectively with drivers, fleet personnel and operations staff.
Supervise and delegate tasks to drivers.
Assist with budgets.
Train and certify new drivers.
Handle after hour calls.
Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance/repairs.
Manage inventory levels.
Assist General Manager.
Other duties as assigned.

What you need:
Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
Valid US Drivers license with clean driving record.
CDL license with 3 years of experience preferred. 
Computer experience with logistics/routing programs or Oracle.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and related professional experience preferred.
Excellent delegation and multitasking skills.
Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.

Work both indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions.
Exposure to used cooking oil odors.
Handling grease coated equipment.
Local travel as necessary.
Variable work hours and on call.

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
