Mechanical NX CAD Designer

Responsibilities Work onsite under limited supervision to prepare mechanical designs and drawings utilizing NX1980 and Teamcenter Correctly apply the ASME Y14.5-M-1994 (or higher) GD&T standard across all design work Support projects within Client-TD, including: PIP-II LCLS-II LCLS-II HE Accelerator Support LHC AUP SRF SC Magnets Follow established Design/Drafting procedures while working to meet project schedules and requirements Work directly with engineering staff to: Research and analyze design solutions Specify and select design components and materials Design tolerance and stack-up calculations Layout designs and detailing Advanced level 3D models 2D drawings required for the project All 3D models and 2D drawings to be completed in NX1980 All work to be managed and maintained in Teamcenter Quantity of deliverables will be directed by Fermilab on a per-task basis Quality Assurance All work shall be performed in accordance with the Fermilab QAM and Client-TD Design/Drafting Procedures All work will be reviewed, checked, and approved by the Fermilab staff responsible for each specific task Demonstrate acceptable proficiency in NX1980 CAD via a proficiency interview conducted through the Zoom meeting portal Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Designer Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work products under deadline-driven project conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr
