JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Junior PC Technician to provide onsite IT support and hardware services in a Manhattan, NY office environment. This role will focus on PC deployment, hardware and software troubleshooting, equipment installation, printer support, and IT asset management.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Windows and Mac environments, configuring desktops and laptops, imaging PCs, and providing end-user technical support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide onsite desktop and field support, including installation, repair, maintenance, and upgrades of PCs, laptops, and peripheral equipment.
\n
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
\n
• Configure and deploy new desktops and laptops using imaging tools, SCCM, and standalone installation methods.
\n
• Support Windows and Mac operating systems, iOS devices, and Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• Install, configure, relocate, and maintain network printers, including HP printers and consumable replacements.
\n
• Perform IT asset management, equipment tracking, inventory updates, and ticket documentation.
\n
• Assist with software and hardware installations, including remote installation and support.
\n
• Provide walk-up technical support and assist end users with equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
\n
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
\n
• Identify recurring technical issues and assist with documenting problem trends.
\n
• Lift and transport IT equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n
• 1+ year of PC, desktop, or field support experience.
\n
• Hands-on experience with PC hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
\n
• Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
\n
• Working knowledge of Mac OS and iOS support.
\n
• Experience with PC imaging, SCCM, or workstation deployments.
\n
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and user account administration.
\n
• Experience with network printers, HP printer configuration, consumable replacements, and equipment moves.
\n
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and asset management.
\n
• Strong customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
\n
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
\n
• Lenovo or other hardware vendor certifications.
\n
• Apple technical training or certifications.
\n
• High school diploma or GED.
\n

WORK ENVIRONMENT

\n
• Onsite office environment in Manhattan, NY.
\n
• Supports a walk-up IT kiosk, vending/locker equipment, and network-connected printers.
\n
• Hands-on technical support involving workstation deployments, hardware maintenance, and end-user assistance.
