Our client is looking for a Hardware Support Technician to join their team in NYC. Candidates will be responsible for Deployments, Moves, Adds, and Changes (DMAC) activities. Ideal candidates will have experience performing moves, disconnects and reconnects, installing docking stations and monitors, managing cabling/wire organization, and imaging laptops. This is a hands-on hardware support role supporting large-scale move projects as well as day-to-day hardware support. Candidates may be required to work evenings and weekends in addition to their standard 40-hour work week when needed.

There are also administrative responsibilities associated with this position, including documenting completed work and communicating project updates to end users via email. Candidates must possess strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills, and be a team player who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to learn quickly.

Additional Information:

• 2+ years of Technology Move, Add, and Change (MAC) coordination and/or fulfillment experience, preferably within a financial services or enterprise environment.
• Client-facing experience with strong customer service skills and the ability to respond to email and telephone inquiries.
• Experience coordinating systems access, vendor engagement for telephony and data services, and managing installations through multiple request management tools.
• Experience with PC and hardware deployments, including imaging, installations, disconnects/reconnects, and equipment moves. A+ certification is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adapting to changing business needs.
• Technologies may include Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft 365 (O365).

Work Environment: Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a business casual dress code. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience supporting a large enterprise environment.

Candidates will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, updating asset records, tracking open requests, providing status updates, and logging timesheets in Excel and Fieldglass.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
