Assistant Manager, Inside Sales

YOU As an Assistant Inside Sales Manager, you will support the Inside Sales Manager in leading the department, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a “no-equal” customer experience. You’ll also mentor and guide Inside Sales Supervisors and Customer Service Representatives. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Support Department Leadership (30%) Assist the Inside Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations, monitoring call reports, and ensuring workflow efficiency. Team Development & Coaching (25%) Lead, coach, and develop Inside Sales Supervisors and team members. Provide feedback, set goals, and foster a collaborative environment. Operational Oversight (20%) Ensure order accuracy, compliance with SOX and ISO standards, and implement corrective actions when needed. Customer Experience & Issue Resolution (15%) Address escalated customer concerns, support export documentation processes, and ensure service excellence. Reporting & Strategic Input (10%) Prepare reports, analyze performance metrics, and contribute to policy and process improvements. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times. TRAVEL This job requires up to 5% domestic travel. WORK STATUS & LOCATION This full-time, exempt, position is located in Stockton, CA. It is not eligible for remote work. RELOCATION Relocation is not available for this position.
