Must-Have: Hands-on experience with Epic or Cerner Organ Transplant software

Description: The Interim Renal Pre-Transplant Coordinator manages the clinical evaluation, diagnostic workup, and UNOS waitlist management for kidney transplant candidates. This role collaborates with transplant nephrologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to progress candidates from initial referral through waitlist activation. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate diagnostic testing, labs, and multi-specialty consults.
• Compile and present candidate cases at weekly Multidisciplinary Selection Committee meetings.
• Maintain UNOS/OPTN candidate status updates and annual re-evaluations.
• Ensure required documentation to guarantee strict compliance.
• Educate candidates and families on the evaluation process and waitlist requirements.
• Serve as the primary clinical liaison to referring dialysis centers and nephrologists.
