Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Marlton, NJ. This position is benefit eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for answering telephone calls and transferring to appropriate destinations.
• Responsible for greeting patients
• Responsible for collecting required documentation, copays, deductibles or payment of services prior to treatment and documenting transactions in EMR.
• Responsible for daily insurance verifications.
• Responsible for monitoring entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.
• Handle various clerical functions as assigned by Manager and/or Director.
• Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in clerical/healthcare environment preferred
• Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and patient's families
• Ability to function independently or under supervision as task requires
• Organizational and time management skills
• Strong customer service skills
