Associate Financial Advisor

Cohesion Wealth Management is looking for an Associate Financial Advisor who wants to become an exceptional Lead Advisor—and, for the right person, eventually a Practicing Partner and owner of the firm. We are our own RIA and Tax office, and have created a truly holistic Wealth Management firm, that is seeing fantastic growth. What Makes Cohesion Different Investment Management Retirement Income and Distribution Planning Tax Management Estate Planning and Document Creation We own our tax practice and have built tax planning directly into our wealth management process. We also take clients through the estate planning process and produce their estate planning documents. These aren’t simply areas we discuss and refer out. We coordinate investment management, distribution planning, tax management, and estate planning so clients can make better decisions across their entire financial lives—not in separate silos. The Role You will begin by working alongside one of our Managing Partners in client meetings and gradually take on more responsibility. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing financial plans and client meeting materials Supporting retirement income and distribution planning Using our planning technology to identify tax planning opportunities Supporting estate planning and document creation Managing client follow-up and action items Assisting with new accounts, transfers, and other operational needs Developing the technical and relationship skills required to become a primary advisor As your capabilities develop, we will transition client relationships of approximately $250,000+ to you. You will not be expected to cold prospect or build a book of business from scratch. We have built a growth engine that consistently brings new clients to the firm. That gives our advisors the opportunity to spend their time becoming exceptional at advising clients rather than building their careers around prospecting. That doesn’t mean growth isn’t part of the role. We expect our advisors to build deep client relationships, earn trust, recognize opportunities, and generate introductions and referrals through the quality of the work they do. Who We’re Looking For You want to improve, take on responsibility, and become excellent at this work. You are coachable, self-aware, accountable, and focused on serving clients well. You know how to listen, communicate clearly, connect with people, and build trust over time. Ideally, you have 3+ years of experience in wealth management or financial planning and either hold the CFP® designation or are actively pursuing it. You may be ready to move beyond a larger firm’s limited career path and join a firm where your growth is tied to your capability—not simply your tenure, production, or ability to generate leads.
