Accounts Receivable Assistant

About the Opportunity Our client is in New Bedford; MA is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team! This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow their career while showcasing strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage customer billing and credit requests
- Create and distribute invoices
- Enter and maintain financial data accurately
- Perform other Accounts Receivable and accounting-related duties as needed
- 5+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with or exposure to SAGE accounting software required
- Background in Accounts Receivable or Accounting required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- $22-$26 per hour
- M-F 9am to 4pm (1 hour lunch)
