Field Technician - Construction Materials Testing

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented geotechnical Field Technician to join our Poulsbo, WA team. The Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in field testing and inspection of soils and concrete, with ACI certifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform field and lab testing of soils, concrete, aggregates, and other construction materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, and project specifications. Collect and record accurate data for engineering analysis and reporting. Perform quality inspections on concrete forming and masonry work. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to address any issues or discrepancies. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed on job sites. Qualifications: ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I Certification (Preferred) Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification (preferred) Experience with soil density testing, concrete sampling, and construction site inspections Understanding of ASTM, AASHTO, and local regulatory standards Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle use) Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to walk, stand, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods Benefits & Perks: Company Truck & Gas Card - Assigned for work Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance 401(k) Profit Sharing Paid vacation and Holidays Career development & mentorship opportunities Krazan promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment and requires mandatory pre-employment drug testing.
