About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Experience: 2 years of previous experience required; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must not have been an employee in the last 12 months Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across various campuses. Candidates are expected to have completed a skills checklist within 1 year of submission date. A supervisory reference is required at the time of submission. Candidates must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Local candidates within specific areas may be accepted with a rate reduction. This position involves caring for patients in critical conditions and requires acute clinical skills. The role includes assessing patient needs and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this position. Travelers will participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competencies. Certifications must be up to date prior to submission.
