Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care (IMC) Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cardiology or similar settings License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS AHA required Must-Have: Cardiac telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required. EPIC experience required. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to clearance for start. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a high-performing cardiac team. The role involves caring for intermediate and general cardiology patients. You will work in a fast-paced, 23-bed cardiac/telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and dysrhythmias. Management of titratable vasoactive drips is a critical duty. You will collaborate closely with cardiac teams for pre- and post-procedure care. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing patient outcomes. The registered nurse will participate in managing advanced cardiac technologies in a high-acuity setting. We emphasize a supportive, team-driven culture that values quality improvement. Patient education will also be a significant aspect of care.
