CDL Driver/Yard Laborer

Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are hiring on behalf of our client for a CDL Class A Driver / Yard Laborer in Albertville, MN. This is a local delivery driver position with home daily routes, steady hours, and a mix of truck driving + warehouse/yard work. Key Responsibilities * Operate a Class A CDL truck for local deliveries * Deliver roof trusses, floor trusses, and building materials to residential construction sites * Perform load securement (strapping, chaining) and ensure safe transport * Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DOT compliant) * Assist with loading/unloading lumber and materials * Support yard operations, warehouse work, and general labor tasks * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment (as needed) * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely Qualifications & Skills * Valid Class A CDL license * Clean driving record and safe driving history * Experience with flatbed, construction, or lumber delivery (preferred) * Ability to perform physical work (lifting, loading, outdoor work) * Forklift experience is a plus (not required) * Experience in warehouse, yard, construction, or manufacturing environments is helpful * Strong attendance, reliability, and safety mindset Employment Type & Compensation * This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position * Pay rate is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience * Application Window: Open until filled Work Schedule * Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM * No nights * No weekends * No overnight routes * Stable, year-round work in construction, lumber, and building materials Benefits * Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental, Vision insurance * Bereavement Leave * Retirement, 401(k) * Personal Advancement Employer Information This position is being recruited by NCW on behalf of a client company.
