Marketing Operations & Automation Manager

The role is 100% remote and open to candidates based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.

YOUR MISSION

Own and continuously evolve the automation and MarTech ecosystem across Marketing, ensuring scalable workflows and operational excellence. You will:

• Design and implement scalable automation architectures across marketing functions, connecting tools, data sources and workflows
• Take ownership of the marketing tech landscape—evaluating, optimizing, consolidating and introducing tools where needed
• Identify and implement AI-powered solutions to increase efficiency, creativity and measurable performance
• Build hands-on automations and integrations (e.g., APIs, workflow tools like Zapier , n8n , custom scripted solutions)
• Partner closely with engineers to ensure sustainable system design and solutions that are compliant with our existing infrastructure
• Analyze existing processes and proactively identify inefficiencies with technical solutions
• Establish clear documentation, standards and governance to ensure long-term scalability
• Act as a sparring partner for operational stakeholders, complementing strong process foundations with deep technical expertise
• Continuously explore emerging technologies and ensure Yazio stays ahead in a rapidly evolving MarTech and AI landscape

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, technology, data and AI —and directly influences how efficiently and intelligently we scale our growth.

YOUR PROFILE

You are a systems thinker with a hands-on builder’s mindset.

You combine technical curiosity with business understanding—and you enjoy turning ideas into working solutions.

You bring:

• Several years of experience in marketing automation , MarTech or technical marketing roles
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, APIs and workflow builders (e.g., Zapier or similar platforms)
• Experience designing and implementing technical workflows that integrate with existing IT systems
• Confidence collaborating closely with engineers and technical stakeholders
• A structured and documentation-driven approach to working
• The ability to critically evaluate tools and make thoughtful build-vs-buy decisions
• A pragmatic mindset: knowing when to automate, when to simplify and when a manual process is the more economic solution
• A genuine interest in health, nutrition or well-being, and the motivation to contribute to a mission-driven product
