APP - Hospitalist - Nocturnist

Summary


Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a leading healthcare provider in the region, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Hospital Medicine team. As a member of our team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient safety and outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care, including physical exams, health history evaluations, and diagnostic assessments.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, X-rays, and other studies. Perform diagnostic procedures such as blood draws, smears, and urinalysis.

• Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe medications in collaboration with licensed physicians.

• Develop educational programs for staff, medical students, and community agencies. Participate in training programs, seminars, and team meetings.

• Collaborate with healthcare staff, physicians, and community agencies to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Physician Assistant or CRNP or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner License.

• DEA Controlled Substance Registration, Controlled Dangerous Substances License (or eligibility to obtain).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
