Treatment Coordinator

Description Webster Dental Care is a well-established, multi-location dental group that has been serving Chicagoland communities for more than 50 years. Our practices provide comprehensive dental care across a wide range of specialties, with a focus on creating an excellent experience for both our patients and our team members. We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated Treatment Coordinator to join our Skokie office. This position plays an important role in helping patients understand their recommended treatment, insurance benefits, financial options, and next steps in their care. Responsibilities Present treatment plans and clearly explain recommended services, costs, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements Help patients understand the importance and value of completing recommended treatment Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled and outstanding treatment Coordinate scheduling for treatment and ensure appropriate appointments are reserved Review insurance coverage and estimated patient responsibility Discuss payment options and collect deposits or payments when appropriate Maintain accurate patient notes and treatment-plan documentation Work closely with doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, and the front-office team to provide a smooth patient experience Monitor treatment acceptance and follow up on outstanding treatment opportunities Build strong relationships with patients while handling financial conversations professionally and compassionately Assist with other front-office and administrative responsibilities as needed Requirements Previous dental office experience strongly preferred Treatment Coordinator or dental front-office experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, treatment plans, and dental insurance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy dental practice Experience with Dentrix is a plus Professional, dependable, and team-oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket.dev
