Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.Position Summary:Healthcare Payments is the bank's first AWS hosted In-Production platform. We are looking for a Software Engineer with the skillset to support the expanding and revenue generating platform.Responsibilities:Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirementsDesigns, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintainedMentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stackExecutes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecyclePerforms spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideasAutomates manual release activitiesDesigns, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)Required Qualifications:At least 7+ years experience in Software Engineering with experience working in highly regulated environments.Proficient in C# and/or JAVA development, including Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.Has experience in Test Driven development tools Jnit, Mockito.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to break down requirements and find efficient solutions.Experience building RESTful web services based applications.Strong hands on Database working knowledge with common RDBMS such as Oracle, or SQL Server.Experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, BitBucket and other build/deployment tools/process.Good interpersonal communication skills for technical and business conversations.Leadership qualities to collaborate in an environment with developers in multiple geographical location.Exposure to Agile methodologies and able to work in a fast paced agile work space.Desired Qualifications:Ruby/Rails, Kafka, event-driven architectures, Docker, cloud migration and modernization experience, healthcare/payments/financial services domain knowledge.Skills:Application DevelopmentAutomationInfluenceSolution DesignTechnical Strategy DevelopmentArchitectureBusiness AcumenDevOps PracticesResult OrientationSolution Delivery ProcessAnalytical ThinkingCollaborationData ManagementRisk ManagementTest EngineeringShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - NJ - Pennington - 1500 American Blvd - Hopewell Bldg 5 (NJ2150)Pay and benefits informationPay range$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
