Credit Analyst Intern

About the Role As a Bank Intern, you will receive training across various banking departments, gaining hands‑on experience in operations and procedures. The internship includes responsibility for at least one major project or service on a committee. Job Duties Develop a personal training schedule with your supervisor and department representative, based on education, career goals, and prior experience. Meet with employees in each department and engage in assigned training or work projects. Learn and use the bank’s computer systems to assist in processing customer transactions and supporting staff. Apply the skills learned by functioning in various positions for a period of time. Perform substitute duties for absent employees as needed. Represent the bank in community and civic events. Comply with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory rules governing financial institutions and company policies. Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned. Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated excellence in working efficiently as an individual and as part of a team. Strong personal motivation and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Ability to follow directions accurately. Basic knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Open to working on a variety of projects and tasks. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent college graduate. Physical Demands Requires sitting and using hands in repetitive motions to finger, grasp, handle, or feel; occasional standing, walking, and lifting or reaching with hands and arms. Must operate office equipment and routinely work on a computer for 6–8 hours per day. Regular, reliable attendance and occasional extended hours or off‑site travel may be required. Compensation & Benefits The starting salary depends on experience and location.
