Core Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, recommending diagnostic evaluations, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in conjunction with physicians or autonomously (as credentialing permits)
• Informing patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and chronic disease management

Education and Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
