Commercial Loan Processor

At Regions, the Commercial Relationship Specialist provides general administrative support to Relationship Managers within Commercial Banking, covering segments such as Agricultural Banking (AG), Government and Institutional Banking (GIB), Small Business Administration (SBA), and Franchise Lending. Primary Responsibilities Assists Relationship Manager(s) by performing daily support activities related to client relationships and keeps respective Relationship Manager informed when appropriate. Acts as a point of contact for Commercial Banking clients for all servicing requests related to client relationships. Attends weekly meetings with Relationship Manager(s) to discuss workflow items such as renewals, new pipeline items, servicing requests, past‑due reports, etc. Provides reports for Relationship Manager(s) such as 360 Report, Weekly Sales Report, OneView Pipeline Report, Maturities, Past‑Due and Exception Reporting. Facilitates and manages credit application workflow, including collecting financial information from clients, submitting facility applications, and managing loan workflows to closing. Manages post‑closing requirements including tickler requirements and exception citations. Manages Relationship Manager(s) loan maturity pipeline, ensuring renewals are approved and closed in a timely manner. Serves as a liaison between Credit Products and the Commercial Team, overseeing underwriting and loan fulfillment processes and managing due diligence requirements from the field. Assists Relationship Manager(s) with sales support functions to include marketing requests, client and prospect presentations, and building prospect information files. Opens new deposit products for clients. Works closely with the Treasury Management team to onboard new Treasury Management clients and provide guidance on resources for servicing. Maintains consistent data integrity for relationship team’s client accounts within all source systems. Maintains OneView administrative data, updating client contact information, merging client records, managing pipeline reports for renewals, and creating prospect/center of influence records. Manages data organization within Relationship Grouping Application (RGA) to ensure client records are properly grouped for accurate 360 reporting. Supports clients in specialized business segments such as GIB, SBA, AG, and Capital Markets within Commercial Banking. Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned. Helps facilitate training for new associate onboarding. Might serve as a mentor for new associates. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of banking or client support experience. Or High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of general banking experience. Preferences College degree. Skills and Competencies Ability to lead and mentor others. Ability to partner with various internal partners across the organization. Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills. Excellent work ethic and self‑motivation. Position Type: Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors directly impacting pay for individual associates include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance in the job role. As these factors vary, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. Job Range Target: Minimum: $53,025.00 USD Median: $66,832.50 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
