ABOUT OUR AGENCY

I opened my agency in October 2016 and currently have a team of six. I got my start in the insurance world right out of college, working for another agent. Seeing how he built and grew his business inspired me to take the leap and build something of my own. I’m a Georgia Southern graduate and a proud dad of three girls—five‑year‑old twins and a two‑year‑old. I also have a dog and live right here in the community we serve. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me outdoors—running, camping, hunting, or fishing. We like to keep things fun and rewarding for the team. ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Tyler Hood - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage customer accounts and update information in the database. Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries. Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status. Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred. Compensation $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm. Agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
