Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will work within a thriving respiratory services department, focusing on adult and pediatric patient care. This role demands expertise in various respiratory procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assessments in accordance with protocols.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as GE R860, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, and more.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Document care and interventions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
