Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist $23.50 per Hourin Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the commercial property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Support daily operations at the location by assisting with visitor interactions, answering routine questions, and maintaining a professional presence throughout varying working environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
