As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will support access awareness and clear communication while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing traffic, verifying permissions when required, and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations at an industrial location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
