ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
3x12-hour shifts (Night: 19:00 - 07:30; Day: 07:00 - 19:30). Weekend coverage is required.
We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in critical care to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, overseeing their treatment and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, analyzing diagnostic and clinical data.
- Provide advanced life support and critical care interventions.
- Administer medications and treatment protocols per physician's orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Assist in specialized procedures for patients recovering from surgery or experiencing critical health episodes.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current AK RN license in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU environment.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Strong skills in critical care management and advanced nursing practices.
