Job Title: Advertising Sales Associate
Compensation: $38,000–$65,000+ per year
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona 85258 (In person)

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable, highly motivated sales professionals to join an established advertising company with a 40-year record of success. Our team develops and sells promotional advertising for weekly newspapers serving communities throughout the country.

In this role, you will connect with small-business owners across more than 25 states and help them promote local fairs, National 4-H and Future Farmers of America programs, holidays, and other community events in their local newspapers.

Our workday begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends by 3:00 p.m., allowing you to avoid peak-hour traffic and enjoy more of your afternoon. You will join a close-knit team of dedicated professionals, including employees who have been with the company for more than 10 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact prospective clients and develop new accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with established, long-term clients
• Present advertising opportunities clearly and professionally (scripted)
• Help small-business owners select promotions that support their goals
• Follow established sales processes and maintain accurate client records
• Learn and use the company’s sales and customer management software

Compensation and Incentives

Earn $38,000–$65,000+ annually through a combination of base hourly pay, commissions, and performance bonuses.

Retention bonuses are paid after:

• 3 months
• 6 months
• 9 months
• 12 months

• Dependable, honest, and committed to a strong work ethic
• Excellent telephone communication skills
• Motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Able to follow directions and established procedures
• Comfortable working independently
• Previous telephone sales experience preferred

Schedule

• Eight-hour shift
• 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• No nights, no weekends

Commute Requirement

Applicants must be able to commute reliably to Scottsdale, Arizona 85258. This is an in-person position.
