Hospital Services Technician

Overview Role: Hospital Services Technician with WM Healthcare Solutions (WMHS). The on-site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers across customer healthcare facilities, including but not limited to Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. Service is provided at regularly scheduled intervals for assigned facilities. Schedule Monday – Friday; facilities include Northwest Medical Center, Northwest Transition, Northwest Women’s Center, Northwest Emergency Center, Carondelet Marana Emergency Center, Carondelet St. Raphael Emergency Center, and Oro Valley Hospital. Start Time 5:30 am Pay $22 per hour Responsibilities Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for WMHS programs and services, including Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. Interacts professionally with on-site customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. Maintains a reliable collection and service schedule. Communicates duty status according to the defined schedule. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications On-site presence at WMHS customer locations and compliance with mandatory immunization requirements imposed by such customers. Two years of industry-related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or equivalent related work experience, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service; related education may be considered. The role is safety sensitive and requires compliance with all safety rules and protocols. The successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing including pre-employment screening, post-incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing in accordance with government regulations and company policies. Pay Detail The base pay is estimated at $23 per hour, subject to variation based on experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
