The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical.The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the following:Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment communityPreparing vacant apartment homes for new residentsResponding to work orders in occupied apartmentsHVAC troubleshooting and repairsElectrical troubleshooting and repairsLock installation and repairsMinor plumbingMinor paintingMinor carpentryAppliance installation and repairsSwimming pool maintenance and repairsQualificationsRequirements:High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience3-4 years general maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, swimming pools and carpentry.Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, install and repair HVACEPA certification and/or HVAC license requiredValid drivers licenseBSR REIT offers a competitive benefit program to assist team members with everyday life such as medical expenses and providing financial protection in the event of a major illness or injury.
