The Opportunity
The Front Desk Supervisor will be part of Yora's founding Front Desk team. Working alongside the Front Desk Manager, this role will help prepare and support the team who will welcome Yora Nordic Spa's first guests when we open to our community in November 2026. This role is anticipated to start in mid-October 2026.

The Front Desk Supervisor brings the Yora guest journey to life, one guest at a time. This hands-on role leads day-to-day Front Desk operations during assigned shifts, coordinates guest flow, coaches Front Desk team members and helps every arrival, interaction and departure feel welcoming, genuine and effortless.

What You Will Do

• Lead the Front Desk team in creating warm, genuine and memorable guest experiences throughout each assigned shift.
• Coordinate daily Front Desk operations, shift priorities, guest flow and team deployment.
• Ensure reservations, check-in, payments, locker assignments and guest communications are completed accurately.
• Support opening, closing, cash-handling and daily operational procedures.
• Monitor wait times, staffing and guest flow and proactively remove barriers that affect the guest journey.
• Resolve guest concerns confidently, professionally and with empathy.
• Maintain calm, welcoming and organized Front Desk and arrival areas that reflect Yora's standards.
• Provide real-time coaching, feedback and hands-on support to Front Desk team members.
• Assist with onboarding and training new Front Desk team members.
• Recognize strong guest service and reinforce accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Partner with teams throughout the spa to deliver a seamless end-to-end guest journey.
• Support retail, memberships, upgrades and promotional initiatives through authentic guest conversations.
• Use guest feedback and operational observations to identify opportunities and improve daily performance.

What You Bring

• Two to four years of experience in wellness, premium guest service, hospitality or a similar guest-focused environment.
• Previous supervisory or shift-leadership experience is preferred.
• The ability to lead by example while remaining actively involved in guest service.
• A strong understanding of guest-journey management and service recovery.
• Experience using reservation, property-management, point-of-sale or workforce-management systems.
• Strong communication, coaching, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Calm and confident decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• A visible, approachable and service-oriented working style.
• A genuine interest in wellness and creating meaningful guest connections.

Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site position. The Front Desk Supervisor must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business needs. Additional flexibility will be required during the pre-opening and opening periods.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
This position works primarily indoors and requires a highly visible presence at the Front Desk and throughout the spa, with occasional work in outdoor areas. The role involves extended periods of standing and walking, periods of sitting and computer use, regular bending and reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying routine office, training or guest-service materials. While moving through operational areas, employees may encounter changing temperatures, humidity, steam, moisture, outdoor weather conditions and wet or slippery surfaces. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
