TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required. License: NC or Compact license pending ok for submission Certifications: BLS & ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience required. Traveler experience is required unless the traveler has more than 24 months of cardiac experience. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO in the unit could possibly lead to a cancel and DNR. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:6, which may vary based on acuity. The night shift will require commitment to work 36 hours only, with 13-26 weeks accepted. Weekend requirements are four shifts every four weeks and are flexible. Staff may be expected to work on Storm and Hurricane Teams during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. The nurse will assist with various patient diagnoses including Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, and CAD. Procedures include post-cardiac catheterization, post-DCCV, and post-electrophysiology procedures. The special equipment includes arterial lines, dopplers, EKGs, and chest tubes. Familiarity with software systems such as Pyxis and EPIC for documentation and medication administration is required. Travelers must be adaptable to floating within or near facilities as needed. RTO policies dictate that requests must be pre-approved, and no additional RTO can be requested after signing. Candidates must be open to completing pre-start modules before commencement.
