Senior Engineer, Network Manufacturing (Orthopaedics)

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Engineer for manufacturing capacity expansion projects in orthopaedic implant production. The role involves executing engineering deliverables for large-scale projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and transferring knowledge to developing manufacturing sites in Raynham, MA or Cork, Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust and fully qualified orthopaedic implant manufacturing processes for capacity expansion projects
• Ensure project activities comply with quality management systems and regulatory standards across multiple sites and countries
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders on technical, validation, and regulatory strategy implementation
• Lead knowledge transfer and training for manufacturing staff at developing sites
• Coordinate project execution and stakeholder communication across internal and external partners

Requirements

• Minimum five years of medical device manufacturing and validation experience
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or supply-chain field
• Statistical and problem-solving expertise in Six Sigma, Systems Engineering, or A3 methodologies
• Strong technical leadership and quality compliance competencies
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
• Proven ability to evaluate, communicate, and manage significant technical and regulatory risks
