Senior Supervising Radiologist

ICON seeks a Senior Supervising Radiologist to provide medical and radiological leadership for clinical imaging programs. The role involves imaging strategy, independent reader oversight, regulatory consultation, and client engagement across global clinical research operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior medical leadership for imaging strategy, protocol design, and independent reviewer processes in sponsored studies
• Supervise independent read teams including training, quality monitoring, and oversight of image interpretation consistency
• Partner with business development and operational teams to support new business opportunities and client relationship development
• Provide real-time consultation to sponsors, sites, and clients on imaging-related scientific and operational matters
• Mentor colleagues on imaging endpoints, clinical trial objectives, and the role of contract research organizations

Requirements

• MD with fellowship training in radiology
• Deep expertise in imaging endpoints for clinical trials and drug development
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory expectations
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and influence through scientific credibility
• Neuroradiology and body imaging expertise strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client and scientific engagement
• Legal right to work in US, UK, or Ireland; ability to travel up to 10%
