Record Center Specialist 1

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Record Center Specialist. This role involves physically demanding tasks, including the moving, arranging, lifting, and loading of storage boxes, bins, and totes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending throughout their shifts.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift, carry, and move boxes ranging from 10 to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on various surfaces, including uneven and concrete areas.
• Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.
• Operate handheld scanners and climb ladders safely.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Experience with loading, operating, and moving hand carts and pallet jacks.
• Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best" is required.
• Must be a U.S. Person to meet ITAR regulations.

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule consists of 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
9am - 5:30pm
