What You'll Do

As a Program Specialist - Lifesharing , you will:

• Foster an environment that promotes independence, self-advocacy, choice, and person-centered planning for individuals with IDD and Autism.
• Support individuals in achieving goals and outcomes identified in their Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
• Monitor service quality to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Conduct assessments and complete required documentation, including quarterlies and SEEPs, within established timelines.
• Ensure services and supports are documented in compliance with Pennsylvania Chapters 6100 and 6500 regulations.
• Maintain organized and accurate individual records and program files.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and ongoing support to Lifesharing Providers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Facilitate training and educational opportunities for providers and staff.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with families, Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs), Administrative Entities (AEs), the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), and other community partners.
• Serve as the program's Incident Management contact, monitor incidents through the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) system, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support outside of regular business hours as needed.

Qualifications

Required

Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

• Master's Degree and one (1) year of experience directly supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism; or
• Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience directly supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism; or
• Associate Degree and four (4) years of experience directly supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism; or
• High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience directly supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.

In addition, candidates must possess:

• Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Chapters 6100 and 6500 regulations
• Understanding of person-centered practices and the Everyday Lives philosophy
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout assigned service areas
• Ability to maintain required clearances, certifications, and compliance standards

Preferred

• Experience in Lifesharing services or residential IDD programs
• Experience facilitating training, coaching staff, or supporting provider development
• Knowledge of Incident Management procedures and EIM documentation systems

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Schedule based on program and business needs
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Participation in an on-call rotation required
• Regular travel throughout Pennsylvania for home visits, provider support, and meetings

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently sit, stand, and walk
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb stairs as needed
• Ability to use computers, telephones, and standard office equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively through speaking, hearing, and visual observation
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds continuously
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
