Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking an Engineering Mana ger for our Nextest division to lead a software development team focused on delivering high-quality solutions for digital instruments on Teradyne’s flagship platforms. This role is responsible for guiding the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of software while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The Engineering Manager will partner closely with stakeholders to drive execution, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of critical projects. L ead milestone-based development schedules to ensure high-quality software delivery within time and budget. D evelop functional specifications and design documentation aligned with system and product requirements. C ollaborate with technical subject matter experts to define and refine software requirements for new features. B uild strong cross-functional relationships to drive progress on time-critical projects. S upport execution by monitoring progress, resolving issues, and reporting status to leadership. P artner with stakeholders to unblock challenges and align on delivery strategies. M entor and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, and career growth opportunities. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 1-3 years of functional management experience with demonstrated performance and retention success Experience in software development within semiconductor test or ATE environments Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and delivering high-quality software releases Experience working cross-functionally with hardware engineers and FPGA developers Proficiency in software development tools such as C/C++ and MS Visual Studio Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to resolve cross-team conflicts Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate, mentor, and guide engineering teams Passion for learning about the ATE industry and ecosystem. #J-18808-Ljbffr ALKU
