Requirements

• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 2+ years CVICU/open heart experience for first-time travelers 2. Cases: Cardiac Surgery (CABG, valve, cabg/valve), CAD (STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, cardiogenic shock), Vascular (peripheral bypasses, EVAR), Thoracic (VATS) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required (AHA ONLY); CPI Certificate required; NRP or AAP accepted 4. License: Active MD or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days 07:30-20:00; every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled; floating required within specialty, sister units, and lower acuity 8. RTO: Max 7 days; if more than 4 consecutive days, additional week added to back end; one major holiday off during winter season 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away 6 months from system 10.
