About the Role:

The Marketing & Sales Manager in the construction industry plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and executing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies tailored to the unique demands of the construction sector. This position is responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and enhancing brand visibility to secure profitable contracts and partnerships. The manager will lead cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer engagement. Success in this role directly impacts the company’s revenue generation and market share expansion within the highly competitive construction industry. Ultimately, the Marketing & Sales Manager will serve as a key leader in positioning the company as a preferred partner for construction projects across the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and sales within the construction industry or a closely related sector.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing successful marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of construction industry dynamics, client requirements, and project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Construction Management.
• Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools specific to the construction industry.
• Familiarity with construction project management software and industry regulations.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Marketing Professional (CCMP) or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-state or national sales territories.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with the company’s business goals and target market segments within the construction industry.
• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets through effective coaching, performance monitoring, and motivation.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in the construction sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure marketing and sales efforts are aligned with project capabilities and delivery timelines.
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials, digital campaigns, and promotional events to enhance brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
• Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
