Cornerstone Center for Early Learning is seeking a Human Resources Director. The Human Resources (HR) Director is responsible for supporting the overseeing all aspects of Human Resources for our growing organization. This role involves managing key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, compensation, and benefits. The HR Director works closely with leadership and staff to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, job postings, interviews, and hiring
• Oversee employee onboarding and orientation
• Manage compensation, benefits, and employee records
• Address employee concerns and support positive employee relations
• Develop and coordinate staff training and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulations
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing and organizational needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience with recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and/or training
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team
• Professional and effective communication with current and prospective staff
• Must meet required health and licensing requirements and pass a comprehensive background check
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and interact appropriately with children, with reasonable accommodations as applicable
