Quality EngineerLocation: Cleveland, OH/Pittsburgh, PA/ Dallas, TX/Phoenix, AZ/Birmingham, AL (ONSITE)Exp: 5+ yearsFull TimeMust Have Technical/Functional Skills:We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, database validation, and quality assurance practices.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications.The candidate should possess hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Karate, Postman, Oracle SQL, and demonstrate strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.Exposure to Kafka and Elasticsearch (Elastic) is preferred to support testing of modern event-driven and search-based applications.Roles & Responsibilities:Test Strategy & Quality Assurance:Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.Define quality standards, testing methodologies, and automation best practices.Ensure applications meet functional, non-functional, performance, and security requirements.Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes and frameworks.Automation Testing:Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.Create scalable automation solutions using: Selenium, Playwright, Karate Framework.Automate UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.API Testing & Integration Validation:Develop and execute API test cases using Postman and Karate.Validate REST API functionality, response structures, and error handling.Perform integration testing across multiple systems and services.Verify data flow and message processing between integrated applications.Support testing of microservices-based architectures.
