Job Description We are looking for a talented Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle and MongoDB, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases. We seek a candidate with 5‑7 years of DBA experience who can ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of our database systems in a collaborative environment. Oracle DBA Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and maintain Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability and performance. Configure and optimize database parameters in accordance with best practices. Design and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies for all database platforms. Conduct regular disaster recovery drills to validate backup effectiveness. Implement stringent security measures, manage user access, roles, and permissions in compliance with organizational policies. Analyze and optimize database queries, indexing, and overall performance; monitor performance metrics and address bottlenecks. Collaborate with application development teams to support database‑related application needs, aid in schema design, data modeling, and migrations. Maintain thorough documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies; generate reports on performance, security, and compliance. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 5‑7 years of DBA experience focused on Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Technical Skills: Oracle database management including RAC and Data Guard; deployment and management of MongoDB, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL; proficiency with database monitoring tools; familiarity with agility tools such as VersionOne, ServiceNow, Datadog; cloud‑based database administration on Azure or AWS; ITIL practices; scripting in Python and PowerShell. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders. Additional variable compensation may include incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable. The candidate selected for this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
