CAD Designer

Position Summary VSL Civil is recruiting for a CAD Technician to join our team. This role can be stationed at any of our current branch locations, which include: Manassas, VA; Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities Draft project and mechanical system drawings derived from layouts and sketches. Establish and follow technical specifications to prepare drawings and draft designs. Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy and coordinate with the shop team for material deliveries to job sites. Determine material needs, perform necessary calculations, and track all material quantities. Qualifications 3-7 years experience with AutoCAD, preferably structural concrete drawings. Demonstrated ability to read and understand structural drawings. Strong communication skills, able to correspond well with engineers and clients. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, SolidWorks, BIM/Revit, and MS Office Suite (preferred). Travel National travel: 5–10%. Compensation Pay between $28-28/hour based on education, experience, and location.
