Lead Enterprise Data Analyst

Salary: $100,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a bachelors degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience, a masters degree with typically 6 years of relevant experience, or about 12 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• We need 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data strategy, with a history of delivering reporting solutions that inform business decisions.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Microsoft Copilot, and Snowflake Cortex Code is required.
• Experience working across business functions such as Retail, Wholesale, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Accounting, Product, HR, and Emerging Markets is important.
• We need proven ability to lead cross-functional analytics initiatives and manage intake and prioritization with limited supervision.
• Strong proficiency in BI and reporting platforms such as Tableau and Power BI, plus SQL, is required; experience with Snowflake, DBT, and the modern data stack is a plus.
• Experience developing functional and technical specification documents is required.
• We are looking for someone who can communicate complex operational and technical topics in clear business language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You should be a highly organized self-starter with strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coaching or mentoring analysts and promoting analytical best practices is required.
• ERP experience is a plus.
• Candidates must live within a commutable distance of our corporate headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, as periodic on-site attendance may be needed.

• We lead cross-functional requirements discovery and deliver analytics end to end, turning business strategy and KPIs into scalable reporting solutions.
• We serve as a shared analytics partner across multiple business areas, aligning operational needs with data and analytical approaches.
• We manage incoming analytics requests, prioritize competing work, and set clear expectations for scope, deadlines, and deliverables.
• We build and maintain dashboards, reports, and reusable data products using our standard BI tools, with a focus on clarity, reusability, and self-service insights.
• We drive innovation in how we report on the business by modernizing, simplifying, and scaling reporting solutions, including using AI to speed up insight delivery.
• We coach and mentor analysts, promote analytical best practices, and own documentation and knowledge transfer across the EDM Center of Excellence.
• We collaborate closely with project teams, enterprise developers, systems analysts, data scientists, and architects to deliver solutions aligned with our enterprise-wide data strategy.
• We monitor business changes and proactively identify where analytics can improve performance, then synthesize and present findings and project updates to stakeholders and leaders.
