Job Summary and Qualifications

Perform cardiac ultrasound without supervision to include, but not limited to transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms Sonographers will have technical skill of studies as well as instrumentation, maintenance of equipment function and safety policy and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Vocational School Graduate
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Minimum one-year experience in Echocardiography preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
