Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear explanations with empathy and understanding
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and care for imaging technologies, addressing equipment issues responsively
• Keep accurate documentation of procedures and manage patient records digitally
• Remain informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
