Team Lead – 2 nd Shift :  Sterling , Illinois
Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to join their team as a Team Lead. We're recruiting for a full-time, 2nd shift position. As a Team Lead, you will provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and team performance goals are met while supporting daily manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities of the  Team Lead :

• Provide hands-on leadership and support to production employees on the floor.
• Work alongside team members to reinforce safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor production performance and communicate issues or delays to leadership.
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Train and coach new and existing employees on proper work methods and expectations.
• Identify quality concerns and support corrective actions when needed.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assist with resolving production issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure materials, tools, and workstations are properly prepared for production.
• Communicate shift expectations, updates, and priorities to team members.
• Collaborate with leadership, production, and support departments to meet operational goals.
• Perform production duties as needed to support output requirements.
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory accuracy efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.  

Team Lead  Requirements and Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to motivate employees and drive performance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and employee engagement.  

Pay for  Team Lead : $23.82-$32.55/hour

Type: 2nd Shift, Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm. 

Training for 4 weeks on 1st from 6:00am-2:30pm.
