Vanderbilt’s mission is to advance health and wellness through preeminent programs in patient care, education, and research.**Organization:**Psychiatry Central Admin**Job Summary:**Provide diagnostic assessment and evidence-based, time-limited psychotherapy intervention to children, teens, and their families with a variety of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Actively collaborates with other Child-Adolescent Psychiatry team members to manage caseloads and provide optimal mental health care for a diverse patient population..**Basic Qualifications:*** Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or equivalent **Required*** Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor-MHSP, or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist.**Position Location & Shift:*** Position is expected to be approximately 40% remote (telehealth) and 60% on-site work* MurfreesboroKEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Maintains professional documentation which meets departmental and VUMC standards as it relates to compliance.* Provides targeted interventions for identified clients via in person and teletherapy services.* Completes psychosocial assessment and assists team with the development and implementation of the plan of care.* Meet regularly with team leaders to discuss caseload progression. Will be expected to discharge and accept new clients on an ongoing basis.* Provides education and or consultation to clients, treatment team and community.* Attends division and department meetings as scheduled via Zoom or in person as appropriate.* The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES • Crisis Intervention (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate crisis intervention in practical applications of moderate difficulty. • Risk Management (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate risk management of moderate difficulty. Capable of conducting risk analysis as part of a task to address problems including determining risk factors, probability, impact, early detection and prevention. Able to prepare simple contingency plans and alternatives. • Patient Assessment (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient assessments in practical applications of moderate difficulty. • Patient Evaluation (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to conduct a patient evaluation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
